He once bought his girlfriend Suzanne condoms for Christmas because they were a special offer. Another year he gave her a digital camera which was a leaving gift for him from XFM. He still hasn't fixed his boiler, does his own grouting, takes shoes to the cobbler and does not own a freezer. Ironically, he takes more holidays a year than I've had in my life and has a property portfolio. Karl, are you a millionaire or not?!

David Bowie was a fan of the podcasts, as was Warwick Davies, Christopher Guest, Harry Shearer, Jason Bateman, David Letterman, the creators of the Simpsons, the creators of 24, Ross Noble, Russell Brand and some bloke who plays Captain Tyrol in Battlestar Galactica. Simon Pegg and Nick frost became good buddies with Karl because of their mutual belief in ghosts. Strangely, an Inuit once emailed the show.
Also, there was the famous Richard "Dicky" Anderson and Paul "The Party Animal" Parker.
